Course Curriculum

At GreenDot Montessori School, we provide a nurturing environment that ensures a seamless and enriching educational journey for your child. Our Montessori-trained educators share a unified vision inspired by the timeless principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. As children progress through each developmental stage, the curriculum builds upon their prior experiences, offering a continuous and uninterrupted continuum of learning.

Montessori / Pre-Primary Program

Our Montessori environment is thoughtfully designed to cater to the developmental needs of children aged 1 year 10 months to 6 years. At GreenDot Montessori, we offer a rich and integrated learning experience across multiple disciplines, including math, language, science, geography, cultural studies, art, and music. For example, a geography lesson is interwoven with elements of language and geometry, creating a holistic educational approach.

Key Areas of the Montessori Curriculum

Practical Life

The Practical Life curriculum is the foundation of the Montessori method, inviting young learners to engage in real-life tasks that foster independence, coordination, order, and concentration.

Sensorial Materials

Sensorial materials are vital tools for cognitive development, helping children classify and organize their sensory impressions.

Language Development

In the Montessori environment, language development begins naturally as children absorb oral language from their surroundings.

Arithmetic

Mathematics in the Montessori classroom begins with hands-on materials that help children transition from concrete to abstract concepts.

Cultural Studies

Cultural learning is integrated into the Montessori curriculum, encouraging children to explore and appreciate the world around them.

Extended Sessions for Pre-Primary Transition

In the final year of the Pre-Primary Program, children participate in extended sessions designed to prepare them for Grade 1 and beyond.
